Quiet Weekend, Vampire Academy..

Hi guys!
Hope you have had a happy week and a nice weekend.
So there isn't much point to this post unfortunately, just going to ramble on about some things as usual haha.

So I've been having a nice quiet weekend at home, haven't gone out or done anything particularly interesting, but sometimes I think we need these type of weekends, to reflect on the week and just have some down time, catch up on missed sleep and just hang around with loved ones.

One thing I have done this weekend is Re-read the first 4 books in the Vampire Academy series as the movie based on the first book comes out on February 14th; which I have to admit, I'm a bit nervous/excited about. I love the books and have read them many times over and I've followed the official Facebook movie page for a few years now and followed the process of choosing the actors/actresses, and although I wasn't convinced beforehand of how well they suit their rolls, after seeing the trailer I am pleased with that aspect.
However...After seeing the trailer I'm wondering how true to the books will the movie be...after all the trailer looks like a mean girls/twilight parody which isn't what VA is about.
I like that they kept the comedy aspect as we all know how Bad Ass Rose is, her jokes and snarkiness made the comedy in the books.

I'm also curious as to why they seem to be wearing uniforms..I don't remember the books mentioning uniforms, I suppose to save budget and save the hassle of dressing all the extras differently, but it just bothered me a tad bit.
Also what is up with Lissa's dress? there are tons of prettier dresses...it doesn't suit Lucy Fry (Lissa) at all. I hope that the costumes improve with the film's budget (Fingers crossed).

Either way, you can bet your bottom dollar that I will be sitting in the Cinema on Valentines Day.

Let me know what you think of the movie, books, if you've read them or not down below.
Hope you have a wonderful week ahead, take care

Taylor Swift Red Concert, Moving houses, AFGW, and Christmas

Helloooo anybody out theree?

I've been gone for a few weeks now and boy is this time of year busy!

So let's catch up aye?
First off let me just say how amazing Taylor Swift was, she never ceases to surprise me with her performances and concerts! The Red Stadium tour was not a let down (I attended the sold out Sydney date 04/12/13), she sung her heart out and even shed some tears. Here's my favourite picture out of the hundreds I took :)

We were sitting in Section A5 so as you can imagine we were really close up to the stage, and we could see her perfectly, however we did also have a huge screen if we missed anything. What I can definitely say is I will always attend her tours as long as she comes to Australia.
The opening acts were pretty good too :) I'm not a huge fan of Neon trees but I do like a couple of songs, and I just adore Guy Sebastian, so if you haven't already check him out on youtube!
Here's a couple more photos;

During the past few weeks I've also been moving houses and now we're finally settled and I finally have the internet again so hopefully I can post more often. The new place is beautiful and it has a beautiful pool, barbecue and tennis court area for the community, of course I've been spending a lot of my time there.
Which leads me to my next point, on the 13th of December as I was lounging in the pool with a couple of friends, I received a notification on my instagram announcing I had won (along with 3 other people) a competition to attend the AFGW (Australian Fashion Graduates Week) launch party and fashion show, and I could bring a friend along and win some goodie bags filled with Face Of Australia products! (they hosted the competition that I won and were proud sponsors of the event).
Now I attended the launch party but unfortunately I couldn't attend the actual fashion show as I had to work but I did contact FoA and they are sending my friend and I the goodie bags! so lovely of them :)
The launch party was amazing and we were able to see a few of the designs and meet the designers, it was lovely to talk to them about their designs.

And then lastly of course was Christmas, which was lovely.
I am of italian/spanish background so we celebrated Christmas eve and Christmas day with my family, I  recieved lots of goodies from them as well as from friends!
I will be doing a Christmas haul soon! so keep a lookout for that :)

Also I leave on the 29th for a holiday with my friends at Nelson Bay so I might not be posting within the next week, I do appologize!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and that you have an even more so amazing New Years.

Hello! Is anybody out there?..

Hello! Welcome!
Hows it going?
Good! that's wonderful, glad to hear you're doing okay.

Let me introduce myself, My names Samantha, friends call me Sam, but you can call me whatever you please! well.. I mean within reason I suppose.
What do I do?
Good question!
I am a 20 year old from the Sydney area and I am from Australia, born and raised.
Oh wait that's not what you asked about right?
Right. Well I am a Make-up artist, and no I did not just call myself that because I like make-up. I actually studied and graduated from an Academy :)

But this blog isn't going to be all about my life as a Make-up artist/ Make-Up Lover, no, this blog is all about me! Well no... not really...that would be pretty boring, I'm not that interesting!
This is about my life and the people who interact with me, which now... technically includes you dear reader.

Now you might be wondering if I have everything working up there, but I assure you everything functions just fine, thank you.

Well I hope this hasn't been too boring for an introduction, I hope to get to know you all better as I'm sure you'll all end up knowing way too much about me!

P.S I hope the title of this blog isn't too obnoxious. Oh who am I kidding? it completely is!

Well... obviously moi.
