Revlon Colorburst Matte & Lacquer balm Review

While browsing through Priceline a little over a week ago I stopped by the Revlon section to see if the new Colorburst balms had come in, and YES! they had. Even better? Priceline currently have a 2 for the price of one deal on, so of course I picked up two of them to try them out.
The new balms come in two finishes, one is matte and one is a lacquer finish; I picked up the colour '250 Standout Remarquable' in the matte finish and the colour '125 Flirtatious Charmeuse' in the lacquer finish.

'250 Standout Remarquable' is a beautiful deep red it has a smooth consistency, is extremely pigmented, glides on smoothly and doesn't settle into any fine lines. As it is a crayon it makes application super quick and easy, but not 100% precise, If you really want a precise line (just as if you were applying lipstick) I suggest you use a lip brush to apply it. What I really love about this is that it doesn't feather outside the lip line and it lasts a long time (until you eat something greasy) on the lips. One thing I'd like to point out however is that unlike its proceeder it is not a lip stain, nor does it claim to be but I think people might get confused as the packaging is the same as the Revlon Just Bitten lip stain. You can use a lip pencil underneath if you wish for the colour to last longer, just as you would a lipstick.  I think this colour would be gorgeous on people of all skin tones, but of course if red isn't your cup of tea they have a nice variety of shades including a beautiful nude, a orange and a dark purple! I think I might pick up the purple one next!

'125 Flirtatious Charmeuse' is beautiful reddy pink colour with red sparkles, it shows up sheer when you swatch it on your hand but on the lips it's very pigmented. I really love this colour, it shows up beautifully on the lips and looks "shiny" for quite a few hours until it wears off, which by the way, just as the matte version, fades evenly and nicely. The consistency is the same as the matte version, very buttery and smooth, I'd also like to mention they both have a slight peppermint smell/flavour but nothing overwhelming.
I thought I wouldn't like the lacquer finish at first just because of the 'lacquer' factor but the overall finish is a nice gleam, it looks like you're wearing a nice gloss but your lips don't feel sticky. I really like that they have a nice variety of shades for these as well, they have a really nice glossy looking red which I'd like to pick up. Again these are not lip stains and they will wear off just like any other lipstick but I really think they're worth the hype.

Let me know if you've tried them out or what you think of them in the comments.

March Favourites!

It's that time of the month, the time to go over and recognize those products I've been loving and sharing them with the world.
This month has been a mixture of extreme heat and extreme rain. No in betweens, just extremes, great right?
I thought I'd so something a little different this month and also include a music, book and perfume favourite at the very end, let me know what you guys think about that.
Foundation and concealer have been key this month as my skin went through a mini freak out. I broke out like crazy and was left with some not so pretty scars. This month I rediscovered my love for the Revlon Photoready foundation, I've had this for a while and I go back and forth with it, I really love the colour selection and the coverage but some days I feel like it can look cakey. However this month this foundation has been my holy grail, I haven't worn any other foundation and I really like how it blurred those pesky imperfections.

Teamed with this foundation I have also been using my Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer. I've been using this for highlighting under the eyes and on those spots that need extra coverage. Now you might think that this concealer would highlight the imperfections but I found it helped hide them perfectly.

To finish and set the foundation plus adding that extra bit of coverage I've been using the Australis Fresh and Flawless powder. I love this powder, it's always in my purse for touch ups, It's got really good coverage, sometimes I wear it on it's own and it makes my skin look amazing. The only downside would be the colour range isn't very big, so if you're pale or darker that I am you wont find a colour match. Maybe Australis will expand the selection eventually as it's one of their best selling products and it's very comparable to the M.A.C studio fix powder.

On my lips I've switched to darker berry tones and I've pulled out one of my all time favourite lipsticks, 'Forever Red' from W7 cosmetics! It's a beautiful deep berry with silver sparkles, and it suits all skin tones, I literally have used this colour on all my friends and it looks amazing.

On the eyes this month I've been using gold tones, especially the colour 'Galaxy' from this Playboy 'Ultimate Sultry Smokey Eyes' palette. I just brush it over the lids and blend it softly into the crease, apply liner and mascara and I'm done.

For skincare this month I've loved the 'Byphasse Make up remover solution'. It's not oily and removed even waterproof make up, it doesn't irritate my eyes and my skin feels soft and refreshed when I use it. You don't have to rinse your skin after using this but I always cleanse my skin anyway with my Avene clearance gel cleanser.

For Perfume this month I've found myself going for one of my all time favourite perfumes (it's becoming my signature smell, I use it ALL the time) One Directions 'Our moment' perfume. Whenever I wear this I always get compliments on how good  I smell, I really like that I can wear it during the day and night, it's perfect for all year round. I'm super excited to try out the new 'That moment' perfume that they're releasing soon, I hope it smells just as good.

Take a look at the hilarious commercial for it below;

My book favourite this month has been Vampire Academy, I reread the entire series in preparation for the movie (hilarious, go watch it), although in my opinion the books are way better. I fell in love with Rose's antics and Christian all over again. A very good series, have a read if you already haven't.
I also recommend reading, Divergent and the Maze runner series, both have been made into movies so keep an eye out!

Lastly here are the top 5 songs I've been listening to non stop this month;
(click to hear the songs)
5 seconds of summer - She looks so perfect
Rixton - Me and my Broken heart
Dan + Shay - 19 + you and me
McFly - All about you
Daughtry - Waiting for Superman

Hope you've had a great month, here's to April!

Disney's The Lion King Musical - Outfit of the Day

Hi guys!
Welcome to my very first outfit of the day!
I was a bit hesitant posting outfits of the day as I don't think I really have a certain style or anything but since I went to the theatre today with my best friend and her family to watch 'The Lion King' musical, I decided why not?

Now I don't know about you but at least when I've gone to a theatre before (Capitol Theatre in Sydney) people tend to dress a bit nicer, not super fancy but no jeans, so I opted for a nice dress with some tights and boots! Casual yet nice which I think is perfect especially since the weather is being so bipolar as of late.

I'm in love with this dress, they have it in black with different coloured flowers as well but the red one just caught my attention, especially with the blue flower!
I really like the cut of this dress and the sleeves are ruffled which looks really feminine and pretty.

Dress: Kmart
Tights: Kmart
Boots: Big W

I'm absoloutly in love with these boots, Big W is selling some really nice ankle boots for $10 so if you have one near you go check them out! Great Autumn/Winter must haves.

I was really fortunate to go to watch 'The Lion King' musical, I had really wanted to go but couldn't get tickets, they were pretty pricey. I absolutely love musicals and have been addicted since watching 'Wicked' while I was in high school, so when my best friend messaged me to let me know she had an extra tickets and if I'd like to come I obviously said Yes! Yes, Yes, YES! haha
That being said, I'd like to thank her once again for taking me! thank you chummy!
Let me tell you now, this musical was AMAZING, the entire set up was wonderful, the cast was super talented and amazing and with all the stage props and changes you could really see how hard they all worked. I was thoroughly entertained and I really wish I could watch it again. If you get the chance, please go watch it, you won't regret it.

Maybelline - VOLUM' EXPRESS the Falsies Mascara Review

Mascara is that one product that just makes your eyes pop, no matter what eye colour or skin colour; you can be bare faced with just some mascara and look amazing or you can have a full  face of make up and pile on the mascara and make your lashes look dramatic and smouldering. ( Just make sure you don't turn your lashes into 'Spider lashes')

Mascara is one of those products that run out fast, it SHOULD be changed every 3 months. Let's be honest though, I don't always change out my personal mascara on time, especially if I'm loving the mascara, I want to use every single bit of product. I'm a firm believer in that you do not have to pay 30 dollars or more for a high end mascara (don't get me wrong, there are amazing high end mascaras, but if I'm replacing it every 3 months I'd rather splurge on another product, e.g. foundation).
Last year however I was really struggling to find a good drugstore mascara, I was using the Lash Blast Waterproof (I accidentally had picked up waterproof and then just stuck to it) mascara from Covergirl but the brush was making it annoyingly hard to get all my lashes and my bottom lashes without getting a blob or dot on my skin, ruining my make up, but to be fair it was the only mascara that was giving me super dark and thick looking lashes. (Just a friendly note: The Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara Waterproof is ridiculously hard to get off, seriously, that stuff does not budge)

Towards the end of the year however I was getting bored using the same mascara and having to clean up all the mistakes, I was just about ready to throw in the towel and purchase the Benifit they're real! mascara when I did some digging and found a lot and I do mean A LOT of great reviews on the Maybelline Volum' Express the Falsies mascara so while the Chemist Warehouse was having a 2 for $20 deal on Maybelline mascaras and liners I picked up the Falsies in 'Black Drama' in the regular formula. I was really excited to try it and see if it would become my next favourite! The brush was different to any other mascaras that I had tried in the past, it has a sort of spoon shape, which I think is what gives your lashes that amazing curl.

As soon as I tried it for the first time I could already see it was going to be amazing and I would continue using it! Before I get into any specifics let's see what Maybelline claims this mascara does.

Maybelline says;
Lash Glam goes extra Matte, extremely black 300% more Visible Lashes corner-to-corner, no gaps.
Why you'll love it:
The most dramatic lash fab volume!
-Patented Spoon brush reaches lashes from corner-to-corner, which Black Drama formula fills in every gap.
-Matte black lashes
-No Gaps from any angle
-Contact Lens safe and Ophthalmologist tested
-Washable (also available in waterproof formula)
For best results hold brush with spoon side upwards against lashes and sweep from root to tip. Repeat until desired look is achieved.

Now those are some pretty big claims, 300% more visible lashes? no gaps! and for me, a contact lens wearer, this product is safe and easy to remove! sounds great! right?
One major problem with the Lash Blast apart from the massive brush was the fact that it did not budge, yes of course it's waterproof but I still expect to be able to remove the product from my lashes at the end of the day without pulling half of them off and irritating my eyes. It took quite a bit of work to get the Lash blast off, and for late nights sometimes I was just not bothered.

Here is a picture of my eye with absolutely no mascara:

Here is a picture of my eye with the Covergirl Lash Blast in Waterproof (Lashes not curled):

Here is a picture of my eye with the Maybelline the Falsies (Lashes not curled):

Here is a picture of my eye with the Covergirl Lash Blast in Waterproof with my Lashes curled:

Here is a picture of eye with the Maybelline the Falsies with my Lashes curled:
(you can see clumps in this picture! I would usually brush them out but for the sake of the review I left them, this is with two coats, no drying in between)

Since wearing the Falsies Mascara for about 3 and a half months I have gotten countless compliments on how great my lashes look (although I've never been asked if I'm wearing 'Falsies' aka False Lashes) which I think is great, they must really look good if I'm getting compliments right?
I like how dark it makes my lashes look and how long and thick, however sometimes I feel it can clump the lashes together but you can fix that with simply combing through your lashes with a disposable mascara wand. I like how I can get all of my lashes, including the ones right in my inner corner and outer corner, and even all my bottom lashes.
I have worn this mascara all day with no flaking, but I did give it the ultimate test, I went dancing with some girlfriends while wearing this mascara and it was boiling hot, I was sweating and there was no air conditioning and it still looked great at the end of the night (12 hours later!) which is obviously a plus!
Overall I think if you really like the dramatic lash look you should definitely give this mascara a go! I don't think it you get 300% more visible lashes but I do think it makes them look amazing!

5/5 from me!

Mini Chemist Warehouse Haul

So today after work I stopped by the Chemist Warehouse just to have a browse and repurchase my favourite concealer (Rimmel Wake me up), but of course being the beauty junkie I am, I didnt leave with the thing I came for.

(For those of you who aren't from Australia or have simply never heard of the Chemist Warehouse, it's basically a store that sells prescription medicine, make up, skincare, vitamins, protein powder, etc. at a discounted price.)
(yes I went outside and took this picture in the gloomy rainy weather)

So first up on the list of things I picked up was this 'Soin Du Visage - Byphasse - Solution Micellaire'
This brand I'm pretty sure is new to the Chemist Warehouse as I've never seen it before, It was in the isle that has all the acne treatment, Cetaphil, QV etc. Its a gentle make up remover that does not need to be washed off, it's supposed to be good for sensitive, dry or irritated skin. I think this just might be a dupe for the Bioderma, so I'm excited to try it out and see how it compares. This was $10 dollars for 500ml or 16.9 fl.oz (You can pick up Bioderma from Priceline now here in Australia but it's quite expensive.)

The next thing I picked up was these Paris Hilton lashes which I never even knew existed. They were around $5 dollars and there weren't that many different types at my Chemist Warehouse. I picked these up as they were the most natural ones they had (the others had glitter or were different colours). Just from my first impression they seem to be those plasticy lashes which I generally don't like as they tend to be difficult to get into shape. (I usually use Ardell or Red Cherry lashes).

I of course picked up my favourite concealer! I use the shade 'Soft Beige' if anyone is wondering.

And Lastly but not least I picked up my favourite face wipes! these are the only ones I like that don't drag across the skin and are soothing and gentle, even on my contact lens wearing eyes! They are also about $1 cheaper than the other swisspers wipes for some reason, but seriously check them out if you haven't.

Ps keep a look out for my February favourites within the next few days!

First Impression; Tanya Burr Lipgloss!

Hi Guys!
I am so unbelievably excited! My Tanya Burr Lipgloss arrived in the mail today! I ordered the lipgloss 'Champagne Toast' as soon as they were released at about 2 am AEST.
I've had this gloss for about an hour now and am currently wearing it while I write this post!

First off let me just say how proud I am of Tanya! You are amazing and inspirational and I admire you! If you don't know who Tanya is, she is a Beauty, Fashion and Lifestyle blogger plus Youtube Celebrity. She creates easy to follow/recreate make up tutorials as well as vlogs with her fiance Jim Chapman (also a Youtube Celebrity) and of course she has a beauty blog.
Tanya has teamed up with EyeCandy for the release of her products and has created 12 Lipglosses and 10 Nail polishes, all in beautiful colours. You're bound to find a colour you love, or two...!
Now that you know who Tanya is, let's get on with the Review!

First off this is my first time ordering off feelunique.com and I am pleased with their service, their shipping fees are low which is great when you live in Australia since usually you pay more for shipping than a product itself! I paid $14 dollars for the Gloss and $3 for shipping.
I really wanted a nail polish from the collection but unfortunately it said we were unable to get it shipped here, I'm not quite sure if that's due to our policies or theirs but hopefully it will be fixed soon.
I was obviously able to choose a Lip gloss, however there were so many pretty colours it was difficult to just buy one (for now) but I settled on 'Champagne Toast' as I don't have any lip product in that colour.

What Tanya says;
"I hope you love my range of glossy, chic and pretty lipglosses. I had such an amazing time designing them!"

What the product claims;
- Super Moisturising
- Incredible Shine
- Rich Beautiful Colour

What I say;
I hate sticky gloss. In fact I usually stay away from lip gloss for that particular reason, however after recently trying some W7 glosses that weren't sticky I've been wearing it a lot more often. I have also watched Tanya for a while now and have literally watched all her videos and have seen how pretty lipglosses can be; Tanya has inspired me to branch out and try some gloss.

Champagne Toast is a beautiful peachy nude colour that is sheer but still adds colour without overpowering your natural lip colour. I feel like lots of people would love this colour, and I mean c'mon it has an adorable name! The gloss is NOT STICKY! hooray! and of course beautifully glossy, it makes your lips look amazing.
Packaging wise it's very cute, it's easy to see the colour if you were to have it stored in a draw & it has Tanya's name as well as a cute heart on the top of the lid.
The applicator is great, it's a doe foot applicator but it sort of just hugs your lips and dispenses the product evenly, it has a paddle shape.

I would also like to mention the product smells amazing, like some sort of lollies, which makes it a pleasure to put on, however the smell is not overpowering, once its on your lips the smell goes away.

Over all I'm so pleased with my purchase and can't wait to try out more colours from the range.
I hope Tanya comes out with more products and I fully support her!

5/5.

Where to find Tanya;

January Beauty Favourites 2014

I don't know about you, but January flew past for me! One minute it was here and the next it was over! Anyway I know this post is a bit late, but hey! I've been busy :)

So let's get into it! Here are my January Beauty Favourites;

(From L - R; Australis Colour Inject Lipstick in 'Gangsta Rap', Revlon Lip butter in 'Juicy Papaya', Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation in 'Soft Beige', Avene Thermal Spring Water, W7 Light Diffusing Concealer, Rimmel Scandaleyes waterproof pencil '012 Bronze', Australis Velourlips Matte lip cream in 'NY-Cee' & 'TOK-I-O', Bourjois blush in 'Golden Rose/Rose d'Or', Ben Nye Blush in 'Victorian Rose', Maybelline The Falsies Mascara in 'Black Drama')

Let's Start out with the Rimmel Products!
First up is the Wake Me Up Foundation.
I love this foundation, it gives me a radiant glow and I find it lasts well and I don't need to powder it on my dry skin. It perfects my imperfections and I get a lot of compliments on my skin when I wear it. I find that I haven't worn much foundation during January as it was way too hot here in Australia but on those days when I did, particularly on work days, I found it lasted at least 5-6 hours. Now this foundation does have specks of glitter in it, but I find that like the Revlon Photo Ready foundation you cannot see the sparkles unless you are under direct sunlight and have someone staring at your face up close!

The next Rimmel product I've been loving is the Rimmel ScandaleyesWaterproof pencil in 012 Bronze.
Boy is that a mouth full! Anyway, I've been loving this on my waterline instead of black, or all over the lid for a bronze smokey look. I find that the pencil really lasts a long time and I still have it on at the end of the day.
Nothing much else to say really.
Check out the swatch below!

Now you'll probably get tired of hearing me rave about this but the next favourite is from Avene and it's their Thermal Spring Water spray. I love this stuff, I use it on hot days when I need a pick up, before bed, after my shower, after I remove my make up. It's just a great spray. I'm not quite sure what it is about it but it really helps my skin brighten up and feel refreshed!

Australis has been releasing some really great products recently, and I've added quite a few to my collection. Good Job! But of course being the lip junky that I am, I have 3 lip products that have made it into my favourites for this month!

Let's start with the Colour Inject Mineral Lipstick in 'Gangsta Rap'
I love the Australis Lipsticks, they're moisturising and have gorgeous shades (and they're cruelty free and an Aussie brand!) so when I saw this beautiful purple lipstick I just had to have it. Purple Lips are really on trend at the moment, I find anyone can wear a purple lip, as long as you have confidence and find a shade that suits you!
Gangsta Rap is a great shade in my opinion as it's purple but not too purple (like the Tok-i-o shade) so it's great for those who don't want to fully commit but still follow the trend!
I find that it's a gorgeous summer colour that I've been rocking for most the month unless I was wearing what I'm about to talk about next.

The next two lip products from Australis are their brand new Lip Velours! These babys are AH-MAZING, they're matte, really stay on for hours , albeit they are a bit drying on my lips. There is a nice selection of colours ranging from nudes to pink, red and purple, so basically a colour for everyone, you can even mix the shades! I find they don't transfer too much so they'd be perfect for Valentines day *wink wink*.
Once again good job Australis!

The only other thing I have worn on my lips this month is from Revlon and that is their Lip butter in Juicy Papaya. A gorgeous peach shade that Tanya Burr featured in her favourites that I immediately went out and bought. (PS check our Tanya Burrs Lip and Nail collection on feelunique.com)

Below are some swatches of all the lip products mentioned!
(From L-R; Juicy Papaya, Gangsta Rap, TOK-I-O, NY-CEE)

For Mascara I've been loving the Maybelline the Falsies. It just makes my lashes look amazing, its really great and I recommend you try if you already haven't.

For undereye concealer I've been loving the W7 light diffusing concealer. It has a peach undertone that cancels out any darkness and really highlights under my eyes! Not to mention the packaging reminds me of the YSL Touche Eclat, however this concealer only comes in one shade, so if your dark skinned this will look ashy.

And Finally the last two favourites are blushes!

I've been loving pairing these two together for a beautiful glow this month. The first blush is from Bourjois and its one of their little round pot blushers. I've had this blush for ages and I love wearing it out, it just gives the prettiest glow on the cheeks. It's a light rosey pink with gold running through it, fitting as it's name is 'Golden Rose'. It's a gorgeous colour that would suit anyone with a fair to medium complexion.

The other blush is from Ben Nye and from my professional kit. The shade is 'Victorian Rose' (Can you tell I've been loving rose blushes this month? ha!) It's just the perfect, just flushed colour for my cheeks and I just wear it a lot to be quite honest. Ben Nye blushes are highly pigmented though so if you do decide to check them out, remember to apply with a light hand!
(Top - Bottom; Golden Rose, Victorian Rose)

So there you have it, my January beauty favourites!
I hope you enjoyed, let me know what you're favourites were!

Christmas Beauty Haul!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Hello everyone!
I hope you had an amazing start to the New Year! I hope 2014 brings you all you wish for and more!

I am officially back from my holidays and boy do I miss being near the beach, and just lounging around with friends and having a laugh. Unfortunately life is not a holiday, if it was we would never appreciate it as much as we currently do.

So as you all know Christmas has come and past, and I thought I would do a haul on all the beauty gifts I received or bought over the end of the December.

Lets kick start this haul with Lime Crime.
I have wanted to buy Lime Crime lipsticks for years now but they are quite expensive so I always just admired them online and from afar.
So as you can imagine when I opened my Christmas gift from my beautiful friend Stacey and discovered 4 of these gems I was in shock and in love. In fact I actually told her "I think I'm in love with you" and creeped her out a bit.
Besides the point that she got me FOUR!!! of these amazing lipsticks she also chose amazing colours that I probably would have chosen myself, check them out below!

Glamour 101
A Beautiful deep red, amazingly pigmented and my favourite out of all 4.

Countessa Fluorescent
A beautiful Barbie / Nicki Minaj Pink. Highly Pigmented

Poisonberry
A Deep Purple, almost a metallic plum when on the lips. Beautiful and not a typical colour you would buy but I love it.

Centrifuchsia
Hot Pink in a tube, my second favourite, a colour that would suit everyone.

Apart from getting me these lipsticks my friend also chucked in a palette from Shany Cosmetics which I'd never heard of. Below are swatches of all the colours, you will be able to see most colours are pigmented but there are some that are lacking. I'd say the quality is like that of BH Cosmetics.

Moving on!
I also got a nail set from one of my other friends which is amazing! My nails are super short, and I can't ever seem to grow them long but I do love me some nail art! This kit is perfect for that and it was fun to mess around with; It's great for begginers like myself as it explains different ways to use everything included. (the nail file is missing because I was using it hehe)

Now here comes the fun part, while picking up some last minute christmas gifts I also picked up some products from W7 since the Chemist warehouse was having a 3 for 10 sale! can you say bargain?!

I tried using this as a mascara but it did not work, however as an eye liner and for adding glitter it was absolutely perfect! I put this on all my friends for New Years Eve!

This W7 Nudes pallete was a must have in my travel bag! The colours could be more pigmented but they made the perfect nude/ natural smokey eye.

The W7 Heavenly cream blush is just amazing, it stayed on my skin through the heat and humidity and gave me a beautiful glow.

These slightly shimmery bronzing pearls from W7 were beautiful to use on my tanned skin from the beach, it just made my skin glow! I also liked that it was not jam packed full of shimmer as most of these type of products are.

This Eyeshadow duo from Smooth Cosmetics was beautiful, I used this on my friend with Blue eyes and it just made them pop! I also used them on myself and it looked amazing. The shadows were extremely pigmented, however I find they work best applied with fingers and for some reason a brush doesn't pick up the colour as well.

And finally I picked up this 'Light Up' Lipgloss from W7. It's a beautiful champagne colour that can be worn by itself or ontop of a lipstick for a metallic finish. The cool thing about the 'Light Up' lipglosses is that when you open the cap there is a light that comes out so you can apply the lipgloss in the dark. Handy for if you're going out at night and there isn't a bathroom available for touch ups!

So there you have it, my beauty Christmas haul.
Let me know what you got for Christmas :)

Taylor Swift Red Concert, Moving houses, AFGW, and Christmas

Helloooo anybody out theree?

I've been gone for a few weeks now and boy is this time of year busy!

So let's catch up aye?
First off let me just say how amazing Taylor Swift was, she never ceases to surprise me with her performances and concerts! The Red Stadium tour was not a let down (I attended the sold out Sydney date 04/12/13), she sung her heart out and even shed some tears. Here's my favourite picture out of the hundreds I took :)

We were sitting in Section A5 so as you can imagine we were really close up to the stage, and we could see her perfectly, however we did also have a huge screen if we missed anything. What I can definitely say is I will always attend her tours as long as she comes to Australia.
The opening acts were pretty good too :) I'm not a huge fan of Neon trees but I do like a couple of songs, and I just adore Guy Sebastian, so if you haven't already check him out on youtube!
Here's a couple more photos;

During the past few weeks I've also been moving houses and now we're finally settled and I finally have the internet again so hopefully I can post more often. The new place is beautiful and it has a beautiful pool, barbecue and tennis court area for the community, of course I've been spending a lot of my time there.
Which leads me to my next point, on the 13th of December as I was lounging in the pool with a couple of friends, I received a notification on my instagram announcing I had won (along with 3 other people) a competition to attend the AFGW (Australian Fashion Graduates Week) launch party and fashion show, and I could bring a friend along and win some goodie bags filled with Face Of Australia products! (they hosted the competition that I won and were proud sponsors of the event).
Now I attended the launch party but unfortunately I couldn't attend the actual fashion show as I had to work but I did contact FoA and they are sending my friend and I the goodie bags! so lovely of them :)
The launch party was amazing and we were able to see a few of the designs and meet the designers, it was lovely to talk to them about their designs.

And then lastly of course was Christmas, which was lovely.
I am of italian/spanish background so we celebrated Christmas eve and Christmas day with my family, I  recieved lots of goodies from them as well as from friends!
I will be doing a Christmas haul soon! so keep a lookout for that :)

Also I leave on the 29th for a holiday with my friends at Nelson Bay so I might not be posting within the next week, I do appologize!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and that you have an even more so amazing New Years.

xxS
