We're all unique, we all have different personalities and traits that make us who we are;
scientist say there is at least one other person in the world who looks exactly like you, but even twins are never the same (and they've grown up in the exact same environment for the majority). I'm not talking about appearances, because you're appearance is a part of you, yes, but it can be modified. I'm talking about the things that make you, YOU.
The way you laugh, the tone of your voice, the things you find funny, your talents, your interests, all the tiny little pieces that come together and make you special.
Everyone is special, and we all deserve to be happy and loved, but unfortunately that's not always the case.
Bullying has a huge impact on who you become, and how you react and feel about yourself. It can leave scars that will affect the way the respond and how you take on the rest of your life.
There was an experiment done with school children to show them the effects of bullying. The students were given a piece of paper and told to crumple it up, rip it, do whatever they wanted to it. Once they were done, they were then asked to straighten the paper out and look at the damage caused that could not be repaired. This symbolised the way bullying affects hundreds of people everyday.
Bullying is not only physical but mental and with the introduction to social media it has expanded. There have been countless cases now of people being bullied on Facebook where people have set up hate pages about a person. There is also those sites where you can ask anonymous questions and you can get pretty rude and horrible things being said about you.
A lot of these cases have ended in the person being bullied attempting (and usually succeeding) in taking their lives.
The Love is Louder campaign is set against not only bullying but against anything that makes you feel less that the beautiful amazing person you all are.
Check out the Love is Louder page and join the movement.
Love IS Louder.

Eye of the Day. - Bronze Smoke.
Hi Guys!
So yesterday I posed a picture on my private Facebook of my eye make up and some friends of mine asked if I could do a blog post and say what I used to achieve the look!
So here it is! :)
After applying some foundation to my eyelid, I used Rimmel Scandaleyes waterproof pencil in '012 Bronze' all over my lid. I then used a blending brush and buffed out the edges.
I then got my MAC eyeshadow in 'Twinks' and buffed it into the Bronze so that it wouldn't budge and softly blended it up into my crease.
After that I grabbed my Bronze pencil and ran it along my waterline and slightly under my lash line and buffed 'Twinks' on top to set it.
After that I used my Maybelline Gel Eyeliner in Brown and lightly lined my lashline before smoking it out with 'Twinks'.
After that I applied some Maybelline 'the Falsies' mascara to my top and bottom lashes and Voila! you are done!
This is my go to smokey eye when I am in a rush, takes less than 5 minutes to do.

Quiet Weekend, Vampire Academy..
Hi guys!
Hope you have had a happy week and a nice weekend.
So there isn't much point to this post unfortunately, just going to ramble on about some things as usual haha.
So I've been having a nice quiet weekend at home, haven't gone out or done anything particularly interesting, but sometimes I think we need these type of weekends, to reflect on the week and just have some down time, catch up on missed sleep and just hang around with loved ones.
One thing I have done this weekend is Re-read the first 4 books in the Vampire Academy series as the movie based on the first book comes out on February 14th; which I have to admit, I'm a bit nervous/excited about. I love the books and have read them many times over and I've followed the official Facebook movie page for a few years now and followed the process of choosing the actors/actresses, and although I wasn't convinced beforehand of how well they suit their rolls, after seeing the trailer I am pleased with that aspect.
However...After seeing the trailer I'm wondering how true to the books will the movie be...after all the trailer looks like a mean girls/twilight parody which isn't what VA is about.
I like that they kept the comedy aspect as we all know how Bad Ass Rose is, her jokes and snarkiness made the comedy in the books.
I'm also curious as to why they seem to be wearing uniforms..I don't remember the books mentioning uniforms, I suppose to save budget and save the hassle of dressing all the extras differently, but it just bothered me a tad bit.
Also what is up with Lissa's dress? there are tons of prettier dresses...it doesn't suit Lucy Fry (Lissa) at all. I hope that the costumes improve with the film's budget (Fingers crossed).
Either way, you can bet your bottom dollar that I will be sitting in the Cinema on Valentines Day.
Let me know what you think of the movie, books, if you've read them or not down below.
Hope you have a wonderful week ahead, take care

Christmas Beauty Haul!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Hello everyone!
I hope you had an amazing start to the New Year! I hope 2014 brings you all you wish for and more!
I am officially back from my holidays and boy do I miss being near the beach, and just lounging around with friends and having a laugh. Unfortunately life is not a holiday, if it was we would never appreciate it as much as we currently do.
So as you all know Christmas has come and past, and I thought I would do a haul on all the beauty gifts I received or bought over the end of the December.
Lets kick start this haul with Lime Crime.
I have wanted to buy Lime Crime lipsticks for years now but they are quite expensive so I always just admired them online and from afar.
So as you can imagine when I opened my Christmas gift from my beautiful friend Stacey and discovered 4 of these gems I was in shock and in love. In fact I actually told her "I think I'm in love with you" and creeped her out a bit.
Besides the point that she got me FOUR!!! of these amazing lipsticks she also chose amazing colours that I probably would have chosen myself, check them out below!
Glamour 101
A Beautiful deep red, amazingly pigmented and my favourite out of all 4.
Countessa Fluorescent
A beautiful Barbie / Nicki Minaj Pink. Highly Pigmented
Poisonberry
A Deep Purple, almost a metallic plum when on the lips. Beautiful and not a typical colour you would buy but I love it.
Centrifuchsia
Hot Pink in a tube, my second favourite, a colour that would suit everyone.
Apart from getting me these lipsticks my friend also chucked in a palette from Shany Cosmetics which I'd never heard of. Below are swatches of all the colours, you will be able to see most colours are pigmented but there are some that are lacking. I'd say the quality is like that of BH Cosmetics.
Moving on!
I also got a nail set from one of my other friends which is amazing! My nails are super short, and I can't ever seem to grow them long but I do love me some nail art! This kit is perfect for that and it was fun to mess around with; It's great for begginers like myself as it explains different ways to use everything included. (the nail file is missing because I was using it hehe)
Now here comes the fun part, while picking up some last minute christmas gifts I also picked up some products from W7 since the Chemist warehouse was having a 3 for 10 sale! can you say bargain?!
I tried using this as a mascara but it did not work, however as an eye liner and for adding glitter it was absolutely perfect! I put this on all my friends for New Years Eve!
This W7 Nudes pallete was a must have in my travel bag! The colours could be more pigmented but they made the perfect nude/ natural smokey eye.
The W7 Heavenly cream blush is just amazing, it stayed on my skin through the heat and humidity and gave me a beautiful glow.
These slightly shimmery bronzing pearls from W7 were beautiful to use on my tanned skin from the beach, it just made my skin glow! I also liked that it was not jam packed full of shimmer as most of these type of products are.
This Eyeshadow duo from Smooth Cosmetics was beautiful, I used this on my friend with Blue eyes and it just made them pop! I also used them on myself and it looked amazing. The shadows were extremely pigmented, however I find they work best applied with fingers and for some reason a brush doesn't pick up the colour as well.
And finally I picked up this 'Light Up' Lipgloss from W7. It's a beautiful champagne colour that can be worn by itself or ontop of a lipstick for a metallic finish. The cool thing about the 'Light Up' lipglosses is that when you open the cap there is a light that comes out so you can apply the lipgloss in the dark. Handy for if you're going out at night and there isn't a bathroom available for touch ups!
So there you have it, my beauty Christmas haul.
Let me know what you got for Christmas :)
